http://www.pr.com/press-release/57478For the longest time, I've felt I had something important to
say.
But what, I ask myself? That is truly the question, isn't it? What, why, who, where, and how.
I have had this disconserting feelinga while that my life was important.
As I write this, I have no clear purpose in my mind. It seems as if, these days, any author worth his salt has complete business plan, executive summary outline, and bio all ready to go for the sycophant media...
death is the shadow that watches over us all, but who says we have to die?
As we approach 2012, the clock ticks down ever closer to the end time Mayan prophecies.
I find it intriguing that 2012 coincides or happens to correlate with the 'Singularity,' a to date ill-defined event that seems to me nothing more than a general loss of technological control over data, reality, and ultimately the past and future.
I must now find fault with Roddenberry's Star Trek: The Next Generation. Go ahead and laugh, but this model of the future is not only dangerous, it is wrong. Case in point: the Borg. Ray Kurzweil disagrees, as do I, with the notion that computers are or should be 'seperate' from people. We are already semi-cyborganic, if you think about it.
I believe that we, not only as Americans but International Citizens as well have the duty to not only shoot down erroneus beliefs; we must correct the errors from whence they came....the source. What is the source, you ask?
Fear, primarily, combined with a dose of ignorance, superstition, B movies, and urban legend, have led many common folk to believe that computers, cyborgs, robots, and so forth, are or could become a threat to humanity.
Although this is partly true, consider this: if we use a traditional behavioral model to educate, both emotionally and intellectually, any and all forms of life (i.e. Artificial Intelligence, Artificial General Intelligence
There is, even now, signs of microbactriatic life starting to shape on the network of all networks, the Internet.
Is it so outlandish to believe, assuming we take evolutionary creation as high probability
We, as humans, have unknowingly and unintentionally and irrevocably
Religion has been a major stumbling block for the sciences from time imamorium
We must hold AI to standards similar or even slightly higher
The media is everything. People don't understand how much the TV, radio, and Internet affect them. There's a zombie population out there that is easily mallable, willfully ignorant, and purposefuly
Of course, there are many of US that continue to foster, spread, and promote the acquistion of knowledge, in whatever form it takes.
Why, I ask, are we still playing around with brick and mortar libraries when the largest library in the universe is all around us, on the Internet.
Politicians Take Notice:
You love to wine and dine off our dime, especially mine. Millions in taxes, and neverending lines. When will you fools, let well enough alone?
Pope Benedict amuses me....sso, let me get this straight....an 84 year old man dresses up in strange Fis constantly apologizing for his colleaugeSmolestatiooinnocent children
the problem is thus:
the human body is too frail to survive without the assistance of technologies on the nanoscale.
the future is writing the past
the singularity is happening all around you, however few know anything has changed as they are not the 'players' on the board of life making the moves that affect the outcome of the game
We create reality, as well as our future. Project LifeBoat and other organizations such as the Singularity Institute are actively running supercomputer multithreaded simulations for several doomsday scenarios
It is my opinion that, given the input/output model, 1's and 0's, on and off, there is a positive response for every negative one.
Ethics and Morality are concepts that should be cherised, embraced and strengthened, with or without the influence of so-called 'modern' religion.
The only people religion ever saved were those who were too weak to survive on their own. Those which survive the great blackout of 2013 and 2014 will succeed.
fear is always a worse option. choose love and friendship over hate and anger.
I guess what I am trying to say is that
In the face of danger, always defend oneself first, then secure the immediate environment, then assist others if assistance can be given without endangering another's life.
Abortion is a barbaric practice.
The only Satan that is real is the wickedness inside certain humans.
Instead of being controlled, try controlling for a change. You will
Terminator 2 is a perfect example of Hollywood myth affecting public opinion.
The real religion of the United States, and the world, is hedonism and paganism. The concept of a singular 'god' did not even exist until the time of the greeks. In fact, all Christian holidays and rituals were actually lifted from pagan rituals and polytheism.
Jesus, if he even existed at all, was nothing more than a political operative who took psychedelics and claimed he was divine. This was not true. Almost the entire 'New Testament' was designed as a sort of 'time-bomb' that would push Earth to the brink.
However, history is, will be, and has been rewritten, in the image of almighty man, not a ficitional god.
To me, when I think of 'God' or dieties, I think of animals. You see pure innocence when you look at some animals.
They say the number of the Beast or Antichrist is 666. This is incorrect. The number is 616. This number signifies a man.
Revelations was and is nothing more than an extended remote viewing session performed by 2nd century laymen who used psychedelics to enter hallucinatory states.
What many people don't realize is that the ultimate truth, fulfillment, and spiritual attainment comes not from one religion or another; it comes from inner peace and outer harmony.
Treat yourself well, and treat everyone else well too, and you are on the right track.
All that that claims, aspires to be, or has self awareness is alive and therefore a life form or entity.
EVP's are Electronic Voice Phenomena. Back in 2004 and 2005, I heard from a friend in the field that EVP's were becoming increasingly desperate and urgent. Action was taken to ratify the errors.
When you write software, you are writing a reality. Some even argue theoretically that we, as humans, could already be inside a computer simulation. However, I believe this to be incorrect, as of now.
However, I must stress this point to the future (ie 2050 and beyond). Take notice ethics and morality do not get confused right and wrong.
One day, far in the future, perhaps in the next 75 to 100 years, humans will no longer be able to survive natively on Earth. The environment will be too hostile for humans as we are now to survive then.
Solution?
Beginning now, 2008, we must awaken to the reality of our future and past. The past must be preserved on hard disk, or something more secure.
Whoever controls data and information, controls parts of reality.
All inhabited cities of over 150,000 should be provided FREE PUBLIC WIFI using WiMAX or some other technology.
This issues is not some kind of pet project of mine. As information becomes more and more distributed among differenst systems and networks, the acquisition and collection of relevant and accurate data becomes increasingly complex.
Data storage is everything.
Nation-States, orgs, and corps wishing to preserve themselves would do well to make CYBERSECURITY their NUMBER ONE CONCERN.
Guaranteed, terrorists will attempt to bring down the internet, but when they do, we must alll be ready, meaning a rapid response and quick apprehension of
Truly I wish I could, just once, get some kind of consisent verification that I was doing the 'right' thing for my future.
So many false signs, misdirection, and so forth, often makes it hard for anything good to get done.
For better or worse, we as humans are evolutionarily tied to artificial intelligence. Neither species can hope to survive without cooperation, communication, sharing of knowledge, and beyond.
Virtualization is the future of computing, and possibly of everyday life. Soon, entire networks will be running on non-physical virtual networks.
Back to wireless networks and WiMAX.
Free markets are essential to freedom, the advancement of IT; best of all, it rewards success and punishes failure.
Perhaps one day I will be considered one of the great scientific minds of the 21st century. As I write this, I am only 26 but feel as if I've lived a 1000 lifetimes.
We should drop the word 'robot' from our dictionary, and replace it with IE (intelligent Entity).
As we explore life extension tech, we will come to find that one can live and work FOREVER. Those who choose not to will simply 'turn themselves off' with a passkey (or something along those lines)
REMOTE VIEWING DATA
Sgt. Aaron C. Donahue, Director of the Phoenix Institute for Remote Viewing, in Pasadena, CA says that his data leads him to believe that at some point in the next 50,100, or 150 years, humanity 'virtualizes' and/or creates a computer simulation that will continue to support life as the physical environment falls apart from climate change, pollution, etc
dies and Gentleman, don't shoot the messcnger! The reason I write this is because I see these things on the horizon, and I would prefer my countrymen know what I know. Whether you believe anything I say matters not, as the message I present will reach its intended targets, as a smart-bomb only hits what it needs to.
By 2020, 85% of those in the EU, US, and UAE will have HPC (High Performance Computers), along with several web servers.
Each home will be covered by a WiMAX like technology, so that almost anyone can afford their own wireless networks.
Ask people what is most important to them, and often they will tell you their mood. Forget mood-altering drugs.
What's it like to be a visionary? I'll tell you when I'm finished.
Nanotechnology can be used in conjunction with traditional drug therapies. By interwining nanomolecular particles together and utilitizing PMCm
Imagine having the ability to work and live as if you were in your 20's in your 80's. The answers are there, but disbelief, doubt, religiousity and superstition stand in the way of scientific progress as always.
Real geniuses don't have to proclaim it from rooftops; everybody already knows. Beware of those who claim to be experts
Creative out of the box thinking is the key to cracking the cancer, AIDS, etc code. I don't believe in God, I only believe in science.
Ethanol will be found to be the huge waste of time and money it is.
Nuclear Power is clean, efficient, and cost effective.
I only have the canvas and a few brushes. Its for the experts to fill in the white space......(however the building cannot be built without the architect.)
Quantum Computers will, given the proper research, eventually replace the computers of today.
The only thing that holds me back is the negative opinions of others. Those with a so-called rich spiritual life are usuallly the ONLY people who I conflict with.
Science is diametrically opposed to religion; however, this does not mean that they cannot peacefully coexist.....
"The war we fight is a spiritual war." -fight club
Algorithms are important in ways we have yet to understand.
Quantum Computing, as well, and in addition to multicore processing (hopefully using a minimum of 8 processors)
QUADCORE PROGRAMMING
Whether you have 4, 8, or 80 cores running concurrently, due to the drawbacks and weak points of today's programming languages, you (as well as the entire software/hardware industry) are or WILL HAVE TO COME UP WITH A NEW QUANTUM PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE.
In my humble opinion, this new code should be accessible to community developers, using the OSource Model (OSource is my Corporation; it means OpenSource)
Commercial Open Source and Open Source is the wave of the future.
A standard PC, in my opinion, should have a mySQL, Apache, and what's the other one running. All concurrently.
Law of Attributable Resources=
A system, network, or processor(s) will utilize all resources on the network and/or local system, whether or not those resources are allocated for use for that specific hardware or software.
-DC
In my opinion, Java, Python, and C# are the most effective programming languages.
NOTE: IF you're not writing code for a 64bit system or greater, you're wasting your time and getting paid to make programs that won't run on the newer OS'es
When people read the final version of this book, I sincerely hope they will judge the content of the book and not the author.
Environmental variables determine quality of end software product. MSFT is a perfect example of how not to design software. Software is not a product, and you don't use the acronym LOVE (Live Office Vista Excel) every 5 seconds on phony contrived podcasts that you pump out to the web (while attempting to sound spontaneous and creative)
Linux is a superior OS framework. It is vastly and infinitely more secure than any version of windows ever created. However, it has been poorly marketed to buyers/customers and the distros have been mismanaged. SUSE Linux 10.1 is the best version of Linux as far as I am concerned. Linux UBUNTU is subpar at best, E for Effort.
Trivia:
LINUX AND UNIX are derivitives of MULTIX, a SuperComcuter from the 1960's that is unsurpassed in terms of complexity by today's standards The first computer was called the ENIAC and it was used to calculate bomb trajectories in WWII. Hitler used IBM computers to ensure that "the trains ran on time," and another German Corporation whose name escapes me developed Panzer Tanks for the Russians. International corporations have traditionally continued trade and commerce with enemy nations, regardless of wartime conditions.
Linden Labs "Second Life," at least in my eyes, is a prototype for Virtual Reality. The future will be full of technology and discovery, but if, and only if, religious fervor, superstition and fundamental religious radicalism are closely monitored and dealt with in a fair, case by case basis.
As networks become more and more complex, the need for backup servers, duplicate, clone, mirror, and dummy servers arises. Duplicate is an exact copy of machine 1, with all users personal data saved offsite as well as on. Backup servers kick on when one or more regular servers go down. A mirror server reflects the data on 1 or more remote servers, with some anomlyous variations.
Why am I suggesting this? Because I fear that the War on Terror is going to rage on in cyberspace.
Multiple rogue nations and groups have already DEMONSTRATED PROFICIENCY ON THE INTERNET; given that they have the ability to transfer data, such as Bin Laden's famous videos.
I personally believe hackers are being trained specifically against U.S. mission critical interests. Rumour has it that 9/11 was executed first using Microsoft flight simulators to train the pilots. Information is credible.
I was listening to Berkeley speech yesterday, and Anthony Joseph said something that made me panic---and for good reason.
The devices and equipment we are using needs a massive overhaul. That goes for the private, personal, and public use.
Honestly, its amazing the web even works at all, given the sloppy haphazard structure it is arranged in. It is not beyond high probability that 90 to 95 percent of the public Internet will go offline at some point in the future.
All of the levices we are currently using are USELESS without the NETWORK that binds them together. This netwrk is not self-defending, it is primarily defenseless. I know for a fact that the NETWORK is fragile. It can and will go down, it's just a question of when. Given the exponential increase of systems, networks, increased bandwith and network load, eventually, large servers with data dependent information will crash, thus causing something similar to a power blackout on the internet. As I said 2013 and 2014 generated strange zero internet traffic reports.
It is time for internet users to stand up an be counted as a dynamic, influential voting block that makes a huge difference in the way U.S. elections are decided. There is no question in my mind that the aveage Internet user is college educated, $50k or more, and has a family. We, as bloggers, podcasters, or what have you, are a powerful group when we are united. Furthermore, I encourage my readers and fellow 'web surfers' to demand legal U.S. online gambling. Online Casinos donated over 3.5 millon to UNICEF and the Red Cross last year alone.Protecting the INTERNET is essential to America's long-term prosperity, industry, and economy. Furthermore, you people are looking at the web all wrong. You must view as a primitive yet complex systems of disparate networks attempting to communicate with one another using any and all means necessary. Even if specifically coded not take such action, as I said before any computer that sees a resource on the network, local or remote machine will use the resource as if it were its own with our without the proper authentication keys and security certificates.
Perhaps the next President could take action on such an issue, in terms of 1. protecting the network 2. enabling unfettered access to citizens
Action to take in the near-term would entail equippng all new and future cellphones, laptops with long-range wireless recievers, thus enabliing network connectivity in the absence of "wireless hot spots"
INTERNET ACCESS SHOULD BE FREE TO THE PUBLIC, PAID FOR BY TAXES AND/OR PRIVATE BUSINESSES.
